Well its about time I finally contributed to the formula section of this site after leeching off it (only gabe's forks though xD, there arent any banpao guides here)

Technically this isnt a formula but more like a key for winds....
When I looked at all the windcharts ive seen on this site, they all have sections with 4 or 3 winds and some are kind of hard to apply in the game especially for banpao users like me where even the slightest angle difference can make your shot miss
So I came up with a way to identify winds. Ive basically been taking screenshots of these winds and their adjustments since the grandprix but I never got around to organizing them

annnnnnnd last weekend i finished the first section xD.

Yeah... SirLaMort's chart only has factors for 1 screen for the coloured dots... I dont think he ever released the factors for the black ones

So...My goal is to make a windchart that has 6 wind adjustments
1)90-80 or 0 - 1/2 screen
2)80-70 or 1/2 to 1.0 screen
3)70-65 or 1.0 to 1.25 screen
4)65-60 or 1.25 to 1.5 screen
5)60-55 or 1.5 to 1.75 screens
6)55-50 or 1.75 to 2.0 screens

for each direction/dot in each section on it (except maybe the down winds around angle 270... those are easy to feel)

Yeah this is what ive been doing in my spare time emote_xD.gif
playing gb is too stressful for me tongue.gif

EDIT: fck im a nerd

*shrugs* its all the same wind for me. i just low angle it if it gets confusing and it really doesnt affect me that much. oh wells.

and honestly, inevitably human error comes into play - because its really fucking difficult to drag or slice with a .005 power adjustment to fix your core with a wind change of like .05 degrees of direction, (much less sit on your ass and think about it enough to do the math in your head or pound it into your calculator) - keeping the same numbers.

im just a hater.

good effort anyway lul.

oh yeah he says to use a windgauge but you dont really need it..theres an easier method

see that light blue arc that arrow is pointing to? Those are different in each wind direction, you just need to memorize the few key positions
like the middle blue dot on the chart has the wind direction with its arc completely within the sectionIPB Image

You can just memorize the arcs of the coloured dots and the black ones will obviously be the ones in between or you could print out the picture

Rofl, this reminds me of the time when I was trying to teach Nighthawkspt about the wind not being in direct alignment, I'll find the pic I made soon.
