well, look at it this way. if the nado is beyond the point where the hook peaks, typically you would lower your angle, so the peak is farther, increasing the point at which the shot enters the nado, typically spinning around the nado twice (avg 2 angle adjustment) and hitting the same place.

If it peaks directly into the nado, and does not rise/fall, ive seen results vary but its pretty much the same shot.

Anyway, if the nado is closer to you same thing, just opposite. you know. instead of lowering your angle, you'd raise it. i dont know much about boomer, but from what ive seen it all depends on whether the shot is rising or falling, and the distance from the peak of the hookshot.

as far as nados being on top of you, thats harder for me to explain. ive done some trickshots, but im not sure how it works. i think depending on the height of the angle, the closer it will hook, the lower the angle the farther obviously.

yea, i just do angle adjustments mostly. if you're doing fixed powers, i always keep my adjustments to no more then .5 power through a nado, and thats with any mobile.

I know that for full power hooks through a nado, you divide the screen into 15 parts (double the distances), and not sure about how wind affects it, i just take the old amount and halve it.

Alright, the only surefire hook rule for nados that I know is for angle 38, I imangine it'd work for angles in the same range of it as well.

If the nado is...(not the enemy)

1-4 mobile lengths away = .3 less power
5-8 mobile lengths away = .2 less
1/2way between you and opponent = .05 less
