I know these numbers differ from those seen else where. If you feel they need to be adjusted, try them in game first. I used the power formula to pull these numbers. On average, they are most accurate at around 1/4-1/3sd... therefore, I will be making a visual aid for power adjustment as soon as I get paint shop pro on this comp.

Also, I'm aware that some mobiles will usually not have a use for such shot types (i.e. trico, boomer, grub, bigfoot)... oh well.

i always use formula shootin with bigfoot ;P
and i do feel bigfoot is a little heavier than what u got there
if i do remember, 1sd with bigfoot shootin full power is 75, makin it the heaviest shot in the game

and i have the slight impression that u changed places dragon and knight ;P

These are a useful guideline but you can't hit 20 or 30 part consistently without making adjustments to power. I hope it doesn't bug you if I write a long explanation why -

First, some of them are just off a bit even as a guideline. You'll never reach 1 screen with 60 2.4 using armor/turtle. Any angle past maybe 72 and 2.4 will just miss. The picture below shows what KScalc says (and I trust kscalc when it comes to turtle formulas). It says 70 with 3 bars should go 785 pixels, in my screenshot it looks like it's 795 pixels but I could be a few pixels off my estimation of where turtle's shot's coming from.

I think if I absolutely had to use just one power level for 1 screen using turtle/armor banpao, it'd be 3.0 bars. The math says 3.0 bars would be about 15 pixels short for a 1 screen shot (but that's ok, bots are about 40 pixels wide) and about 16 pixels far for a half screen shot. That's a little iffy, if you're aiming for the center of a 40 pixel wide enemy, and you're 20 pixels too far, it's prolly a miss. So 16 is the most I'd want to miss by. It'd hit perfectly at around 3/4 screen with 3.0 bars.

A logical way to do it is something like this: Both banpao and 2.4 are 30-part methods. It's just that banpao covers 1.5 screens (so 20 parts per screen) and 2.4-style covers 1 screen (so 30 parts per screen). Since both formulas have angle 75 as the 'halfway point' of their useful range, then just figure out the exact angle 75 power, then do this:

2.4-style:

1/4 screen: reduce .04 from halfscreen power
1/2 screen: use halfscreen power
3/4 screen: add .07 from halfscreen power
1.0 screen: add .18 from halfscreen power

So 1 screen angle 60 with turtle should be 2.6 :O (says KScalc).
These rules probably work pretty well with any bot. I double checked them with ice and with nak and it's very close (ice would add 1 pixel less from halfscreen power to get fullscreen power, nak would add 2 pixels more)

If you want to make perfect banpao adjustments, and count angle 75 (3/4 screen) as your 'average' power, you'd use these rules:

1/4 screen: reduce .06
1/2 screen: reduce .04
3/4 screen: use 3/4 screen power
1.0 screen: add .05
1.25 screen: add .13
1.5 screens: add .18

Here are my best estimates for the angle 75 powers (just a few bots, everyone who's interested can work out the rest):
Ice 30pao: 2.23 20pao: 2.73
Turtle/Armor 30pao: 2.42 20pao: 2.99
Mage 30pao: 2.38 20pao: 2.91
Sate 30pao: 2.49 20pao: 3.05
Raon 30pao: 2.54 20pao: 3.11
Nak 30pao: 2.72 20pao: 3.34

Sorry for the long post, at the end of the day these numbers look pretty close to yours but remember that the 30 part powers would probably all miss at 1 screen without adding almost .2 bars.

amazing creedo.

i understand the power adjustments to distance thing and i was going to just make a simple visual aid to show a basic idea of it. you went above and beyond as always. thanks for adding all that.

edit: just btw, i used 1/4 sd for the 20 part power and 2/3 sd for the 30part power. i guess it would have made more sense to work from angle 75 in both situations--i was just excited to post something made by me.
