Hello there.

I've been working on my s2 formula for some time, and I now want to share it icon1.gif
Here it is.

It's still BETA but it is reliable.

Enjoy.

Let me explain some details happy.gif

Usually, the longer the distance is , the more factors increase.
But here with s2, factors are approximately the same for 1/2 and 1/1sd "thanks" to the way they go under the ground, it "compensates".

It should look like that :
IPB Image

This formula is not meant for backshot.
I advise Nak Machine users to use s1 formulas as much as possible.
This formula is meant to deal with targets within range 1/4 to 1/1sd.

It works like that:

( Angle for wind 0 ) - ( wind power ) * ( wind factor ) = ( Shooting Angle ) power 3.0~

-> means you won't ever use an higher angle than the one for wind 0 ( 83 would be the highest )

Of course, 3.0~ isn't the most suited power for all the situations: the power you'd want for it to fall vertically depends on the distance.

This is how I think is fine/convenient in a lot of situations:
IPB Image

Power 3.0 is good for a lot of situations (expecially within range 1/2 to 3/4).
But moreover, I based all my factors on this power, cus if I changed it, then factors would change too, and would change according to the distance, and etc...

It's up to you to add angle, and add power, judged on the situation. Feel is still important.
Wind charts are meant to help, so it's still fine.

I won't add 90 - 112deg and 246-270deg wind factors because you can't have your shot to fall vertically with this wind angle in 90% of the situations.

Looks nice but I have a couple suggestions to help make more accurate @_@

What angle is this designated for? If you use this for angle 85 and above you will miss by an angle or two (180 deg for 26 wind factor is around .73~ and 135 deg for 26 wind is .56~)

3 bars is a little bit low for a dual power and most likely the dual will snap a lot in the middle of the shot(break w/e, the two shots will collide), it's not advised use 3 bars too much and past 3/4 screen (3.1 power is like angle 65, not high enough) =X

Will you add 90 - 112deg and 246-270deg wind factors? :o

Lastly, IMO you should add full/3.0+ power angles for more shots/versatility. You can't hit all shots using 3 bars, need a lot of different powers, etc.

Overall its nice for a couple maps ;)

iim pretty sure if asumming its exactly flat land 3 bar would be exactly liek a turtle since its a mirror image of a turtle shot

Sorry if i sound rude but people take their time and effort to make into a little nice chart to post it for others and 80% of your post is about it's inaccuracy.

@Yuber - Anyone can go "ooooh nice chart, looks pretty accurate, good job" but someone who's willing to take the time to criticize it in order to improve minor flaws in the long run, especially on a bot suchas nak which is nearly impossible to form, is the best feedback a person can get. I know Gabe fairly well and for him to take the time to improve it means that it was worth the time in the first place, etc etc

I see what you trying to say 1nsane but what am trying to state is he is posting his chart for any other people to view and get help from, not to instantly aquire all the correct data.He could have all the good data and keep it for himself, and yet was criticise for his public chart.

first the props! congrats man, this is probably the single most accurate chart i've seen here kekeke...i just wish u had more factors, since they seem to be good =)...so dont take my criticism the wrong way...

i believe 3.0 sucks. Galchi, zuzu, and you, I don't know how you guys do it and i respect you a lot for it. But i hate 3.0
first of all, 3.0 3.0 3.0 YEAH RIGHT! you never use 3.0 in wind 0! if you look at my shot 2 landmarks in my guide u see wat i mean lol...moreover like gabe said, some times 3.0 doesnt allow enough UG time for duals, but single shots its fine...and yes, i wouldnt use 3.0 past 1sd at all...

overall it is a must formula that u should have under your sleeve as a nakker, but props to u for giving power to the 3.0!

oh and i completely agree with your "convenient" thing to use...with the exceptions obviously that full and 3.5 can be used anywhere!
