> Can you program a TI-84 (83, etc) to do shot formula for you? And how?

What different variables would you have?
What equations would go in it?
Possibly a step by step.
If possible.

I am tinkering with my 84 and I can put in and save functions. Gunbound is all just numbers, so I am pretty sure it is possible.
Having wind, mobile, direction, and shot on one side of the equation and power as the resultant seems the most logical.

I lack the mental ability to untangle my brain right now.

use the y= function if you already got the equations

I did in calculus class when I was super bored.
You start with the basic parametric equations for projectile motion, then you do a shitload of algebra to solve for different variables like the time it takes to hit the ground. I went so far as to make it graph the shot and stuff.

Basically it's like a cute little mini-gunbound game for the calculator, except it has no purpose and isn't very fun...

If you're planning on using it for in-game, it takes too long to enter in all the information needed for a shot. Wind, wind angle, shot angle, x distance, y distance, you get the idea... it all changes turn to turn.

So basically you can't even be arsed to calculate a simple formula by yourself?
