How to use :
1. Figure out distance - 20 parts per screen - measure from shots origin
2. Adjust for elevation -
Enemy higher - add angles & power
Enemy lower - lower angles & power
3. Multiply wind by angle factor (outside). Lower/Higher angles accordingly.
4. Divide wind power by power factor (inside). Blue means add, red meads reduce. Lower/Higher power accordingly.
5. Shoot!

Example shot :
10 parts away - 20 wind directly against you - enemy slightly above you

1. Figure out 0 wind shot - 59 1.85.
2. Adjust for elevation - Enemy is a little higher, so 61 1.95.
3. Angle factor = .4 20*.4=8 61-8=53.
4. Power factor = 10(b) 20/10=2 1.95+.2= 2.15
5. Final shot = 53 2.15

[angry rant]These charts arent suppose to shoot for you, they are suppose to give you a feel of how to adjust for fork shots, so dont fcking flame me for not having enough factors.[/angry rant]

Enjoy :P

How the heck do you read the wind charts?

Outside factors is what you divide the wind by, inside is your power adjustment:
ie: wind is blowing 10 wind against you and you'r angle is 80, so 10x.6= 6 so lower 6 angles, and it sais for every 20 wind you add .1 bars of power, so your final result will be 74 1.7

The other chart is simply 20 parts 0 wind for +100-400 and -100-400 pixel shots. But most of them will fail b/c land has to be totally cleared.
EX: 400 pixels under you 1 screen - 13 1.95
only good and useful map for that is metropolis

OHHHHHHHH that's what that was!! omg lol i thought the stuff under was 1 less spin, and it always went short, that explains alot : D how many pixels would be 1 60 parts per screen angle/1 70 parts per screen angle?

Err is this what you mean
1 20 part : 40 pixels
1 40 part : 20 pixels
1 70 part : 11.5 pixels

or pixels per angle? If thats the case it depends on distance. From 0 distance to 10 distance its 41 angles and from 10-20 distance it's 29 angles. Just using feel to guess in between angles and always being conscious of wind and elevation is the best advice I can give you.
For adjusting :
1 angle too high can change a 600 damage fork into a 300 damage fork due to the forks "dodging" the opponent.
1 angle too low can make a 400-500 damage fork, along with digging your opponent into a hole.
So in the end missing by 1 angle too high is worse than missing by 1 angle too low. Always adjust lower if not perfect. Thats it :x

This is a perfect example of what a public formula should be, accurate, descriptive, but not so accurate that some random leecher can come along and hit 100% forks without throwing some feel in there too for the "uncommon" winds, great job

windchart = too much to read under 20 seconds..

Too much to read = complicated + Time consuming ( > 20 seconds )

Time used ( > 20 seconds ) = Insufficient

Insufficient = Not Simple Formula

Not Simple Formula = waste of time (literally)

Uh, no...?

If I played turtle, I could have most of the 0 wind memorized in a week, and the windchart is simple enough that a 4-5 second glance, tops, would give all the information needed to calc

outside the circle are are the wind factors so lets say on angle 80 wind 20 against and the factor is 0.6
0.6x 20 = 12
so you lower 12 from 80 which becomes = 68
power factor is 20 so 20/20 = 1
so you add 0.1 + 1.6 = 1.7
final shot = 68 1.7

those shots are based off of a 20 part screen so if you divide your screen into 20 parts then those shots should fall into those spots
so if the target was on the 15th line then you would use 48 2.1 according to this table
