Well I just started playing this game a couple of months ago and learning some formulas,etc. I just want to know how long you guys take to make your first shot in 1v1, and whether or not you calculate it or not. Right now I sort of do a really imprecise "lower x angles for this wind", and I was wondering if it's worth it to spend 5+ seconds calculating a hitting shot or is it better to have less delay with this estimation and hope that you get better as you keep playing. Thanks.

If you're not confident in your shot, just use shot 1 or shot 2. chances are they'll miss ... giving you that huge advantage. I'm at the point I prefer dualing my first turn. Yea I usually go for quick shot close up too. Whenever I calculate for long distance shots first turn, I dual too. I do this because I'm thinking "screw delay" since I'm pretty much using too much time calculating anyways.

lol. don't calculate at all in 1v1.
just get high to sponge bob again and rape her she wont stop you. trust me, you have an incredibly high chance of hitting in 1v1 pure feel (you probably dont even know it). I can easily do pure feel 1v1 trico and hit all spins (but not as good when i do 3v3 or 4v4). |

Of course you were helpful. I was referring to the other posts in this thread that add very little content to it >_<;
