Due to a raised fee for the domain and servers, gbgl will shut down in 12 days unless we can get $200 in funds. And while this is probably possible to do, us admins have decided that we don't want to get public funding from the community as we don't even feel this place is worth $200.

We are really sorry everyone, it's been a fucking good site over the years.

I will miss everyone.

i thought the idea was to take care of it and then pass it to the next person.

why not just do what kiwi did, and interview people who volunteer to take over the site? there's always gonna be cheaper providers out there, if they care to look...
