BEFORE YOU BEGIN
UNINSTALL ANY VERSION OF GUNBOUND YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE INSTALLED.
Once that's done go to the start menu, open run, type regedit, then navigate to the softnyx entry
regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Softnyx
and delete it.
**It is advised that you actually search the registry following the removal of the above key for any other items named softnyx or gunbound, some users have reported other existing entries that can prevent you from connecting to our server so do it now and save yourself the trouble later.
Installing

In order to perform these actions if you're unlucky enough to be using Windows Vista, Notepad must be run by an administrative account in order to make the changes to the ini files.

Make sure you have downloaded the file at http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E6QSE08G it will install by default to C:\Program Files\GunboundWC but you can simply cut and paste it to a different location if you desire. Once it's installed (and moved if you want to) edit the following.

Join IRC. There are a ton of IRC clients, like pidgin, trillian or mIRC. Get one.
Fill it out like this
Server: irc.rizon.net
Port: Default, should be 6667-6669 or something
Username: Whatever the hell your username is
Connect. Once connected type this:
/join #gbhq
bam, you're in the channel
Optional: Join my Teamspeak server if you want. It's at gbgl.no-ip.org
